I am growing celery out back. I like to eat celery raw or cooked in soup. When you buy celery in the grocery store, you will typically find that the celery leaves at the top have already been removed for you. I try not to waste any parts of my veggies. My mom reminded me that celery leaves are great for making celery salt. After picking some celery out back, I cut the leaves off and put them on the dehydrator. After the leaves are completely dried, I gather them up and place them in my coffee grinder. I grind them until they are a fine powder and then add salt and grind some more. Celery salt is one of those seasonings that enhance the flavor of a dish in a subtle way.
